Here is the full text of a reply from the Department of Sport to a freedom of information request we submitted.

I have just been forwarded your e-mail regarding the possibility of acquiring a copy of a report submitted by the GAA on the feasibility of a GAA pitch at the site of Tallaght Stadium.  I wish to inform you that this Department has not received such a report and therefore cannot provide you with a copy.

I regret that I cannot be of more assistance to you.

And from South Dublin County Council;

I refer to your email below.  I have contacted the relevant Department with regard to your enquiry.  No architect’s report  was received from Thomas Davis.
